PCOS and pregnancy is possible with a better understanding of your condition. Along with making positive changes in your life can help you conceive; I am confident that you can get pregnant.

You were probably finally diagnosed with PCOS after trying unsuccessfully to conceive. Discouraged and hopeless has you feeling very overwhelmed and frustrated.

Having PCOS does not mean that getting pregnant is impossible. Women with PCOS can and do get pregnant. It just takes knowledge, patience, and the motivation to become healthy.

Ovulation typically occurs in the middle of your cycle, the exact date depends on the length of your cycle. Hence, the importance of keeping track of your basal body temperature, which will show a slight increase while you are ovulating. Also, your cervical mucus will look like raw egg whites around ovulation.

Consultant your physician to determine if a hormone imbalance, such as a low thyroid is responsible for not ovulating regularly.

Excess Weight

If you are overweight losing weight is very important to your success. Typically, if a woman takes a healthy approach to weight loss as she loses weight her body will begin to balance her hormones. Thus resulting in a normal menstrual cycle and ovulation; increasing the likelihood of conceiving naturally.

Extreme Stress

Your inability to effectively handle stress can result in imbalanced hormones. Being under extremely stressful situations is also difficult for your body to handle that may also cause you not to ovulate.

Excess Physical Activity

Too much exercise that is very intense can effect female hormones, thus it could be responsible for the absence of your regular menstrual cycle.

Failure to ovulate can be influenced by many external and internal factors especially if it effects your hormones. That's why it's critical to reduce the potential factors through a healthy diet, regular exercise, and stress management.
