A Sample Recipe From the eBook

Homemade Energy Bars

These bars are delicious; with lots of variety for different ingredients and flavors.

(HIGH-QUALITY PICTURE OF FINISHED BARS)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup of ground flaxseed
  • 6 Tbsp of rice protein powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 large egg and 1 egg white
  • 2 bananas- ripe
  • 1/2 cup of nuts, crushed (if desired)
  • 1/2 cup of dried fruit (if desired)
  • 1/2 cup applesauce- unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together well.

Place ingredients in a muffin tin, lined with paper baking cups. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

Cool and store in an airtight container with lid.
